The below are a selection of abstract paintings by Laura Gee, 2016 -2026. Through gestural and mark making, Laura employ acrylics and even household paint to translate subjects such as nature, landscape, gardens and emotions into textured, intuitive compositions. Each work explores surface and gesture: layered strokes, scraped passages and delicate washes create a sense of depth and movement that hints at foliage, terrain and shifting light without literal representation. The palette ranges from muted, earthen tones to vibrant, unexpected contrasts, inviting the viewer to linger and form personal narratives.
